Imagine lying in a hospital during COVID, dealing with serious health issues
and being told to abort your unborn child.
Prior to her receiving a kidney transplant in 2022 from her sister-in-law,
that's what doctors at Kingston Health Sciences Center in Kingston, Ontario,
Canada advised Sarah Albert & her husband Adam, to do
Despite not being genetically disposed to the disease or experiencing high
sugar levels, in 1999, Sarah was diagnosed with Diabetes. Soon after, the
young mom to her 3-and-a-half-year-old son Leo, was also diagnosed with aHUS
(atypical hemolytic-uremic syndrome) - an extremely rare, life-threatening
blood condition with a genetic component that affects multiple organs,
particularly the kidneys.
