After years of procrastination and self-recrimination, the film deals with a middle aged woman, Harriet, who decides to upend her life and go to film school in an effort to realize a lifelong dream. Comic adventures and self-discovery ensue. Jacqueline and I talk about the importance of doing a coming of age film around the character Harriet who is already of age, how Jacqueline found a good balance between the comedic & serious tones of the film, what women considering a change in middle life can learn from this film, how the film & characters represent Jacqueline’s experience in the film industry, and more!
